We visited Jeanette & Klaus in December, who run the most beautiful place in Umbria (BellaUmbria.dk) , where Danes can rent local Italian places to vacation year-round.
In addition to being able to enjoy the beautiful local surroundings, delicious food and wine, and fantastic hospitality, we naturally quickly fell into dog talk – and Jeanette was our dog guide on walks with Nemo around the area.

And when we had to leave, there was of course no better way to say thank you for many wonderful dog moments than to give her a dog walking jacket as a farewell gift, and at the same time she could test how it worked in Italian conditions.
And after a few months of use, Jeanette sent us these beautiful photos of the jacket and dogs on a walk in their local olive grove, with the caption:
My name is Jeanette Frank, next to me you see my beautiful male border collie; Artu, almost 8 years old, and our naughty little street dog Jack, 5 years old. Artu and I train obedience and Jack is more into fun tricks. Every day all year round we go for a long walk in the area.
All 3 of us would like to send Linn and the team at DogCoach a warm greeting here from Umbria in central Italy.
I received your winter parka in January when it was really cold here in Italy and immediately loved the many pockets that make it super easy to reach my many different treats for the dogs; ball, tug rope, squeaker and in the special snack pocket; sausage pieces.
And it doesn't matter that the dog walking jacket has a smart cut, is super warm and not too heavy for our daily walks up and down the Umbrian hills.
It's a great jacket you've made – it works well as: a training jacket, a ventilation jacket and a smart winter jacket!
